We named her after the daughter of Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow. Why? Coldplay is coming to Costa Rica on March 18th and 19th. The excitement surrounding their arrival is amazing. The best part? They pledged to focus their tour on sustainability which obviously makes us very happy. They want to call attention to three principles...Reduce, Reinvent and Restore. For more info click here:
In honour of their initiative, we named this beautiful baby girl, Apple! We felt it was a great way to thank the Martin family and the band. She was rescued close to a banana and pineapple plantation which may be spreading poisonous chemicals. We have received numerous sloths from that area and have seen possible liver damage in some of the rescued sloths.
We are very excited and proud to have Coldplay visit our beautiful country. We pledge to continue our initiative of Rescue, Rehabilitate and Release. It's kinda cool that their pledge is 3-R's and our pledge is 3-R's.
