Rescue Center in Costa Rica is the best place to see wildlife
Want to know where the best place in Costa Rica to see wildlife is? Well, guess what? You already found it!
We support hundreds of animals including but not limited to monkeys, sloths, kinkajou, coati, exotic birds, porcupines, deer, birds of prey, raccoons and ocelots. The animals are brought to us from around the country by police, utility workers and concerned citizens in order for us to rehabilitate them and care for them at our facility. Normally, these animals have been the victims of physical and mental abuse, displacement from deforestation, or accidental injury. The ultimate goal is for these animals to all be released but circumstances don't always allow that to happen in every situation. Many of the animals we receive can be rehabilitated but never released for many factors. In those cases, we take upon ourselves to ensure through the financial help of volunteers, donors, and day visitors that our permanent guests receive proper medicine, healthy food and a comfortable and happy place to live the rest of their lives.
The permanent animals at Rescue Center love visitors. Choose to take our day tour and come and meet them up close and personal. Learn their own unique and personal stories and you will understand why they are now so happy to be members of the Rescue Center family.
Choose your date and time as well as the number of people and we will have one of our resident volunteers or coordinators give you a hands-on tour which usually lasts about 1 hour.

Recently visited with kids. We all loved the place. Very neat, animals seem to be in a great care. Owners and staff are very knowledgable and friendly. I even was offered to consult with their vet on the nutrition for our pet.
Please go and support!
