At Rescue Center Costa Rica, we provide a rotating 2-week meal plan to keep meals balanced, varied, and exciting for our volunteers. Our kitchen staff prepares three meals a day—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—with love and care, using fresh local ingredients whenever possible.

The menu follows a Week 1 / Week 2 rotation, regardless of a volunteer's start date. This helps us stay organized and reduce food waste while ensuring all volunteers enjoy a diverse culinary experience during their stay.

All meals are available in vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free versions, and we can accommodate allergies or intolerances with advance notice. Just let our team know during orientation, and we’ll make sure your needs are met.

Some dishes may change depending on the availability of seasonal produce, but the structure of the menu remains consistent.

• Route: Take Route 27 west from the airport, then Route 3 north toward La Guácima. The Rescue Center is located 2.3 km east of the Manolo’s intersection. Use Google Maps or Waze for accurate, real-time directions.
